The Friends of the Williamson County Public Library (WCPLtn) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 service organization dedicated to the advancement of our community through its library. Friends' contributions, fund-raising activities, and volunteer efforts support adult and youth programs, maintain and increase collections, and provide new technologies, equipment and other improvements. Friends-sponsored book sales are held four times a year with all monies going directly back into the library.

The Friends of the Library believes our public library is the heart of the community and is dedicated to enriching lives.  The Friends believes the library helps satisfy the thirst for knowledge and seeks to maintain and enhance the library services offered to the citizens of Williamson County.

October 28th is BOO!  Books with Friends from 2-4 pm for children under 12 accompanied by an adult to come to the library to Treat or Trick for a new book and candy!

Author Angela BritnellDecember Membership Meeting

Thursday, December 7thst, 2017 at noon. Doors will open at 11:30 am.  Special guest author speaker, Angela Britnell.

Angela grew up in Cornwall England and returns frequently from her home in Nashville, Tennessee to visit family and friends, drink tea and eat far too many Cornish pasties!

As a young woman Angela served for 6 years in the Royal Navy where during her travels she met a tall, dark & handsome US Naval officer, named Richard who later became her husband.

Angela is a fellow member of  Friends of WCPL  and also volunteers in the Tech Services dept of the Williamson County Public Library when she's not writing novels or spoiling her grandchildren.

A lifelong love of reading turned into a passion for writing contemporary romance and her novels are usually set in the many places she's visited or lived on her extensive travels. Thanks to over three decades of marriage to her wonderful American husband she's a huge fan of transatlantic romance and always makes sure her characters get their own happy-ever-after.

She is a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association, the Romance Writers of America and the Music City Romance Writers. Angela is thrilled that the 2nd book in her 'Nashville Connections' series, 'The Wedding Reject Table,' has been shortlisted for the RoNA Rose Award by the Romantic Novelists' Association. Among her other novels are: Sugar & Spice, Celtic Love KnotThe Wedding Reject Table and her latest You're the One That I Want.

If you'd like to find out more of what Angela gets up to (warning this may include references to wine, chocolate & hunky main book character guys) check out www.angelabritnellromance.com or follow her on www.facebook.com/angelabritnell and twitter.com/angelabritnell.
