Career Center Resources
Our library system has several books on to assist with your career planning including career specific books, books with resume samples and formatting guides, interview assistance and job searching assistance. Visit the second floor Career Center next to the Computer Center to borrow them or place them on hold via the online catalog and we will pull the books for you to pick up at the Circulation Desk.

The Career Center at the library also features information about upcoming job fairs, employment opportunities and local resources in our area. There is a computer with a scanner for scanning resumes for online applications and email communications by job seekers.

One-On-One sessions are 30 minute appointments with a member of the Reference Department staff.  Call or stop by the Reference desk to schedule your session. Session topics include how to use the library's resume software, review a resume for content and appearance, how to modify your traditional resume into PDF or scanned format, review Microsoft Office programs, social networking sites, setting up an email account, etcetera. One-On-One sessions are limited to Williamson County residents. A library card is required for sessions on library computers.

Computer classes offer basic, library-resource instruction for beginning and intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs.  Visit the  current class schedule for more information and to register online.  All sessions are held in the Main Library Computer Center. Seating is limited.
